NOW Foods Thyroid Energy is a comprehensive nutritional formula designed to support the body’s natural thyroid function. It combines essential micronutrients — including Iodine, Zinc, Selenium, Copper, and B vitamins — with the amino acid L-Tyrosine and a standardised Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root and leaf extract. Iodine contributes to the normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function, while Selenium contributes to normal thyroid function. Together, these nutrients provide a well-rounded foundation of micronutrient support.

The formula features high-quality, bioavailable ingredient forms: Zinc is delivered as L-OptiZinc® (Zinc L-Methionine Complex), Selenium as L-Selenomethionine, and Vitamin B-12 as Methylcobalamin. Zinc contributes to normal DNA synthesis and normal metabolism of fatty acids, and Vitamin B-6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism.
